Safiat Rahaman Sifat is a communications and policy-oriented youth leader with extensive experience in grassroots initiatives, program development, and youth engagement. Known for his strong leadership in youth-led organizations and policy platforms, he has worked across NGOs, think tanks, and civic initiatives to promote community participation, policy dialogue, and youth empowerment. He is the Co-Founder and Chief of Grassroots at the Bangladesh Socio-Cultural Forum (BSCF), where he leads volunteer mobilization, partnership development, and community outreach programs. In addition, he serves as a Policy Associate at the Youth Policy Forum (YPF), contributing to national policy discussions, youth dialogues, and behavioral economics research initiatives. He has also been involved with the Youth Engagement in Democracy (YED) Project under the Rajbari Socio-Cultural Club, where he led district-level workshops, regional debate summits, and youth engagement programs. Previously, he worked with the Youth School for Social Entrepreneurship (YSSE), where he progressed from an intern to a senior associate in communications, managing large intern cohorts and leading high-impact projects such as national case competitions and strategic communication campaigns. He also contributes as a Content Developer and Youth Mentor for initiatives under Grameenphone Academy and LCOY Bangladesh, supporting climate dialogue and digital learning programs for young leaders. Academically, he completed his SSC and HSC with outstanding results in the science stream and has received several recognitions for leadership and participation in national and international initiatives. His experience spans youth policy advocacy, program management, communication strategy, and community-driven development, reflecting his commitment to empowering young people and creating meaningful social impact.
