Meet Safiat Rahaman (Sifat), a dynamic communications and policy professional with strong leadership in youth-led NGOs, think tanks, and CSR efforts from Dhaka, Bangladesh. He is enrolling in a Bachelor of Science at North South University in Fall 2025. Skilled in grassroots operations, strategic partnerships, and program design, Safiat co-founded Bangladesh Socio-Cultural Forum (BSCF) and seeks remote roles to drive communication, leadership, and policy change. From 2023 to March 2025 at Youth School for Social Entrepreneurship (YSSE), he advanced from Intern to Senior Associate in Communications, managing 134 interns, designing competitions like ThinkTank and National Case Competition, and creating content for visibility. He earned Best Intern for three months and a Gold/Star Badge. As Co-Founder and Chief of Grassroots at BSCF since 2024, he launched the Future STEM Leaders Programme (Cohort-1 with 36 interns), built corporate partnerships, and directed volunteer mobilization, events, and outreach. At Youth Policy Forum (YPF) as Youth Engagement Lead and Policy Associate since 2023, he contributed to policy dialogues, edited a behavioral economics paper, organized youth events, and won Best Contributor for engagement. Safiat leads the YED Project at Rajbari Socio-Cultural Club (RSCF) since 2023, one of 16 organizations in a major initiative, organizing debates, workshops, and National Bangla Utsab for three years. Since 2025, he develops content and mentors at Gamephone Academy and LCOY Bangladesh, focusing on digital learning, climate training, and UNFCCC policy dialogues. As Vice President of Communications at Debating Club of Rouf College from 2022 to 2024, he onboarded over 550 members and coordinated festivals. In education and facilitation, he created English content for platforms like 10 Minute School and British Council, delivered workshops for IDLC Finance Olympiad (150,000 participants), and tutored in Biology and English.
