Najib Chowdhury

Meet Najib Chowdhury, a versatile engineering undergraduate and aspiring Machine Learning Engineer from Rajshahi, Bangladesh. He is pursuing a BSc in Mechatronics Engineering at Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology since 2023. Najib's projects include a real-time DC motor control system using Arduino, PID controller, and MATLAB/Simulink for tuning, a dual-parameter monitoring system with machine learning models for event classification, and an autonomous firefighting robot integrating sensors and ML for fire detection and response. In early 2025, he interned at BSRM Steels Limited, gaining hands-on experience in industrial power systems, automation with PLC and SCADA, and steel manufacturing processes. As an executive member of the Robotic Society of RUET since 2023, he organizes workshops on robotics and automation. He volunteered at TechMayhem in 2023 for event logistics and support. In early 2025, as a member of Bangladesh Socio-Cultural Forum, he led research on youth socio-cultural data, produced reports, and helped organize the 1st BSCF Astronomy Camp, where he mentored students on AI and robotics fundamentals. Skilled in C++, Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, MATLAB, embedded systems like STM32, and tools like ROS and Git, Najib thrives in AI, automation, and cross-disciplinary innovation.
