Aurit Ahsan Ohi
Aurit Ahsan is a law graduate from the University of Rajshahi with a strong academic foundation and an active engagement in youth leadership, policy discourse, and human rights advocacy. With a background in legal studies and public engagement, he has developed a reputation as a motivated and forward-thinking individual committed to promoting liberty, social justice, and meaningful social change. He has gained practical experience through an internship at the Office of the Attorney-General for Bangladesh under the AGO-UNDP Internship Program and serves as the Local Coordinator (South Asia) for Students for Liberty, where he contributes to regional youth initiatives and leadership development. Additionally, he has been involved in international and regional programs such as the CAYA Advocacy Fellowship and the UMSAILS-UAP Spring School on Forced Displacement, reflecting his growing engagement with global legal and policy discussions. Aurit has also demonstrated leadership within the University of Rajshahi community as the Senior Vice-President of the Rajshahi University Debating Organization (RUDO) and previously served as Head of Communication for an international conference on Human Rights and Social Justice. His achievements include recognition at the NILS-LEB National Model Legislative Assembly and participation in the Youth Policy Summit 2024. Alongside his legal interests, he possesses skills in digital tools, graphic design, and event management, and remains actively engaged in debating, youth activism, and advocacy initiatives.
