Introduction to Telescope and Observation

As part of the BSCF Future STEM Leaders Programme 2025 Cohort 1, a practical session on Introduction to Telescope and Observation was conducted at Novotheatre, Rajshahi. The session, hosted by Md Ebadat Hossian, offered participants a hands-on opportunity to learn the basics of telescope operation, astronomical observation, and practical STEM exploration. Students engaged actively with the equipment, experimented with observational techniques, and applied theoretical knowledge from previous sessions. The interactive approach fostered curiosity, problem-solving, and collaborative learning while inspiring a deeper understanding of astronomy. Participants asked questions, shared observations, and explored celestial objects in real-time, making the session both informative and engaging. This experience enhanced practical skills, strengthened observational abilities, and encouraged critical thinking. The session successfully complemented the overall STEM Leaders Programme journey, leaving participants motivated, confident, and inspired to continue exploring astronomy and other STEM fields beyond the classroom.
