Introduction to Human Resource Management

As part of the Future STEM Leaders Programme 2025 Cohort 1, an inspiring Introduction to Human Resource Management Session was conducted to broaden participants’ understanding beyond technical STEM knowledge. The session was hosted by Dr Ekram Hossain, who shared valuable insights into leadership, teamwork, communication, and the human side of organizational development. Participants learned how effective human resource practices contribute to sustainable growth, collaboration, and innovation within organizations. The discussion emphasized empathy, people management, and strategic thinking as essential skills for future leaders. Organized under the proud banner of SheSTEM and BSCF, the session encouraged participants to view leadership as a balance between technical expertise and human understanding. Through engaging examples and thoughtful discussion, the session empowered young STEM leaders to think holistically, preparing them to lead with empathy, responsibility, and innovation across diverse professional fields.
